Sam Sellar

Sam Sellar is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the School of Education at The University of Queensland. He was previously a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the National Centre for Student Equity in Higher Education. Sam is currently working on research projects investigating national and global education policy, new accountabilities in schooling and the aspirations of young people in high-poverty regions. Sam is an associate editor of Critical Studies in Education and Discourse: Studies in the Cultural Politics of Education. He has recently published articles in the Journal of Education Policy, Comparative Education and Educational Philosophy and Theory. He also has a forthcoming book (with Bob Lingard, Goli Rezai-Rashti and Wayne Martino) titled Globalizing educational accountabilities: Testing regimes and rescaling governance (Routledge).
