Lisa Bartlett is currently a principal in Whistler, British Columbia, part of the Sea to Sky School District #48. She has been an elementary and secondary teacher, district coordinator and school administrator for 20 years. She has worked as a district coordinator of school improvement, professional development, education technology & of French Language programs. Lisa learned about the Deeper Learning approach through Monica R. Martinez at the annual Deeper Learning ( http://deeper-learning.org) conference last spring at High Tech High in San Diego California ( http://www.hightechhigh.org ). The Deeper Learning approach helps create a foundation for a collaborative learning community where teachers are learning designers and students are active learners.
