Jim Brandon is the Associate Dean of Professional and Community Engagement in the Werklund School of Education at the University of Calgary. His research on quality teaching, assessment, and leadership is complemented by 23 years of professional experience in the superintendency, nine years in the principalship and four years as a vice-principal. Dr. Brandon is a past president of the College of Alberta School Superintendents (CASS) and served as its Director of Leadership Learning from 2009 until he joined the U of C in 2011.
