Dan Friedt is the principal of St. Angela School in Edmonton, Alberta Canada.  He has 37 years of teaching experience from Kindergarten to Grade Twelve.  He has 18 years of administrative experience and is recognized as an Apple Distinguished Educator (2013).  Dan is a graduate from the University of Alberta (B Ed, 1979) and Masters in 1998.  Dan’s passion is Leadership and believes that every single child, even as young as five, can be taught leadership skills.  Dan has presented throughout North America, including Alberta, Saskatchewan, Quebec and California.  His passion for social justice, student leadership, growing lead teachers and infusing technology will move you to examine your own passions, helping you set goals for yourself and your school culture.
