Kirk Linton is a Supervisor of Learning Services in the Calgary Catholic School District. He completed his EdD in the Learning Sciences in 2019 from the Werklund School of Education at the University of Calgary. He is the recipient of a Council For School Leadership of the Alberta Teachers' Association's Distinguished Leadership Award in 2015 and was selected Vice Principal of the Year by the Canadian Association of Principals in 2015. He is passionate about student, teacher, and system learning as well as the possibilities of bringing research and practice together in new and innovative ways. He is a father with 3 sons who keep him busy driving them to music lessons.
