I have been employed in Black Gold Regional School Division since 1993. In that time I have taught students in divisions 2 ,3 and 4. I was an assistant principal at Riverview Middle School for four years before accepting a secondment to Alberta Education in Learner Assessment. In 2009 I became an assistant principal at Leduc Composite High School. While in this role I was tasked with being the administrator of our off campus, outreach school. Over time our outreach program has grown and expanded to Beaumont. This has resulted in the need for a full time administrator of the two outreach schools in Black Gold. Since 2015 I have been the principal of both schools. Working in an flexible learning environment has been both invigorating and challenging. I have been blessed with an amazing staff. We work together to build relationships with students to assist and encourage them as they work towards their educational goals.
